Heal the hungry
Our Third project is about reducing hunger and healing those in need of basic necessities such as food and water, during this Covid-19 Pandemic here in Detroit, Michigan. We, a team of Freshman students, want to volunteer and donate money as we realized we have so much and we should help those less fortunate than us. Our goal of 1500 is ambitious but can help many people. Even a little money would help save a child’s life and have him or her continue to help others. Spread this act of kindness so that "We the People, Heal the People"
Study Buddies
This is our second project and we decided to donate to a government school in need of supplies. We chose to donate to Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh, India because it is one of the states with the most poverty. Since our goal is to improve education and the health system we chose to donate to a school. We strive for equality, our goal is to raise $1500. Even the smallest of donations will be greatly appreciated by not only us but also the children living in these terrible conditions.
end to malaria
This is our first project and we decided to donate to a to an organization that helps people in Central Africa get nets to protect themselves against malaria-carrying mosquitoes. We raised a total of $1560 from this initiative through hosting "Penny Wars" in our local Middle School. We also earned United Nations recognition from this, along with UN pins to show their appreciation for our efforts to save lives.
